Saturday was the most incredibly beautiful fall day. A perfect backdrop for Ryan and Kelly’s love.
Ryan’s ring is twice the size of Kelly’s:)
Whoo, I love when brides put dresses on over their heads. The best part? Their hands always come out criss crossed like that:)
Some serious veil attaching.
Kelly started to get very nervous and emotional right before the ceremony. The ladies continued to get her ready while she rested on her mom for support. What a beautiful moment.
And then…she was overwhelmed right before coming down the aisle and was comforted by her dad. Emotion is so beautiful.
We went to Whetstone for portraits. The light was perfect.
Pretty handsome, too:)
Moments before this one of the groomsmen got Ryan’s ring stuck on his finger. Note to future grooms, DON’T LET YOUR FRIEND TRY ON YOUR RING ON YOUR WEDDING DAY! :)
It took every single bridesmaid to bustle her.
MY FAVORITE RING PICTURE EVER! The bartender thought I was crazy when I asked for an empty wine glass to take pictures of their rings in. But then I showed her the end product and I think she thought I was a little less crazy:)
Oh wow, I love this shot. It oozes love.
Ryan isn’t giving a thumbs down to the cake, but to the fact that they did not smash it into each other’s faces.
Double hug, for the win!
I got to eat at the same table as this couple. When I saw them dancing I became a little emotional. I can only hope that Brad and I’s love will be that evident in 20 or 30 years. One of my favorite parts of a reception is watching couples dancing and interacting together. It’s amazing that we find our one true partner in this world, and that no matter how long we’re together we still find such romance in dancing together.
57 years ago today my mother was born.
8 years ago yesterday, on October 23rd she passed away a day shy of her 50th birthday.
2 years ago today at 6 am my water broke 3 weeks early.
Theo was born at 9:26 pm on his grandmother’s birthday. Although he will never meet her he will always share that special bond with her. What a blessing it has been to have this day be returned to a day of joy and celebration instead of a day of grief.
It has been an amazing year watching him grow from a baby to a little boy. Theo is such a bright spot to anyone that he comes in contact with. Every time we got to the grocery we get stopped several times by people who just want to talk to him. I used to find this strange and annoying, but now I see how happy he can make someone just by saying hi and I just know this is a gift God has blessed him with. He has the ability to turn the worst of the days into the best, and he has for sure grown his mama and papa into much better people by being in this world.
Happy 2 years my sweet boy:)
Brian and Bethany are another couple who I’ve met through mutual friends. They’ve been warning me ever since our initial meeting that they are terrible at photos. I beg to differ.
We walked around Sunbury, Ohio on the most gorgeous evening ever. Brian and Bethany want to move to Sunbury and seemed to know every house for sale in town:)
Apparently it smelled like urine right here, but I made them stand there anyways:)
Oh hey, Fall!
We walked past this couch and I knew I would regret it if I didn’t try to get them to sit on it. With a little coercing (they told me to coerce them to do it:)) they obliged. I love this picture and the uniqueness of it. We also got several honks which was fun!
They love Converse:)
Eeeeek, this was an amazing awesome shoot because I was photographing my future niece or nephew (in my sister in laws belly of course)! I am so excited there will be a new baby in the family, and also a little nervous about how Theo will react:)
Matt and Betsy live in Cincinnati so when I see them I get excited to see how much her belly has grown!
They aren’t finding out the gender, but I think it’s a girl:)
Matt’s clearly a jokester. I don’t remember what was happening here but it sure is funny:)
Matt wouldn’t talk to the baby for a photo so Betsy talked to his belly instead.
Pregnancy suits you Bets:)
