Something big has been a brewin’ at our house. And it isn’t photography related…
That’s right, come this September (or maybe August, Theo arrived early:)) we’ll have another addition to our family! We are super excited and Theo already thinks he’s going to have a baby “seester” 
.
Right now I’m 13 weeks along and finally starting to feel like a human again. It’s not necessary for me to take a nap every day (for a few weeks I couldn’t survive without one) and I don’t feel nauseated everytime I get a whiff of the stinky trash. Hooray!
I’ve had to adjust my summer schedule a bit this year since this little peanut will arrive right in the middle of the busy season. And you know what, I’m secretly kind of happy to have an excuse to take it easy this summer and have plenty of time to go swimming and to the park with Theo.
I will still be shooting weddings in May, June and late October/onward. As far as family sessions go, I’ll try to keep shooting up until mid-August. That will give me time to get them edited before a newborn is taking up all of my time.
If you are looking into getting a portait session done this summer please contact me sooner than later. I know summer seems very far away still but I will definitely only be taking a limited number of sessions this year.
And here’s a picture of my ever expanding waistline although it’s probably more likely that the belly is the result of the Mongolian BBQ and Shamrock Shake I had on a lunch date with Brad:)

Congrats! I was actually going to contact you to set something up for this summer around June. We are expecting #2 at the end of July and I wanted to get some family shots. Logan insists he is having a sister too! We will find out friday! Let me know if you have any availabilty! Congrats again!

Congratulations, Melissa, Brad and Theo! So happy for you all! Mom talked to your Grandma a week ago or so, and she told her then.
